Brenda (Japanese: ブレンダ Brenda) is a character in Pokémon Duel. She is the owner of Olivia Palace and a member of the Roger family.

Personality

Brenda is prideful and sharp-tongued towards her enemies, often poking at her opponent's worries and weaknesses to catch them off balance. However, she is sensitive to comments about her age and does not take defeat well, as it causes her stress - which she also believes "causes wrinkles".

Despite this, she is charismatic enough to have a crowd of fans that follow her around, who call her "Lady Brenda", root for her success, and offer her gifts such as chocolates and cakes.

Plot

Brenda acts as the owner of Olivia Palace, the fourth hotel in the Pokémon Figure Game (PFG) World Championships on Carmonte Island. She works under Don Roger, head of the Roger family, and is tasked with defeating the player to obtain their advanced AI device Carlo.

She is also tasked with eliminating Sharon from the Championships, and as such relentlessly taunts her about how the Rogers stole the PFG League Match system and its profits from Sharon's father - an event that threw her family into turmoil.

The player challenges Brenda at the top of her hotel, where she makes a bet that the loser must jump into the building's emergency escape chute. When the player defeats her, Brenda struggles to accept the reality that she has lost, and then attempts to cower out of the consequences of her own bet.
