Major events
- The Black Tyranitar destroys the Cianwood Gym.
- Pikachu begins fading away, as the appearance of the Black Tyranitar threatens to alter the future.
- Gold, Chuck, and Eusine attack the Black Tyranitar together, but are easily defeated.
- Jasmine and the Trainers from Olivine City arrive to help.
- The Black Tyranitar tries to escape to Olivine City, but is stopped by Lugia.
- Gold tries to capture the Black Tyranitar with his Level Ball, but fails.
- With Black's support, Gold successfully captures and seals the Black Tyranitar away once again.
- Gold and Chris continue their journey together.
