Pokémon Karaokémon was a segment that aired at the end of The Johto Journeys episodes. The successor to Pikachu's Jukebox, Pokémon Karaokémon featured one minute music videos featuring songs from the Totally Pokémon CD. The music videos featured video clips from the anime series and lyrics at the bottom of the screen to sing along to. Pokémon Karaokémon debuted on October 14, 2000 with the airing of Don't Touch That 'dile and ran until The Fortune Hunters. Before the songs are played an eyecatch appears in which Ash says "Get ready for Pokémon Karaokémon, coming up next!".

Pokémon Karaokémon was the last segment to feature music videos due to the lack of English anime music soundtracks being produced from there on after.

Trivia

  • Two versions of each episode of The Johto Journeys exist: one with captioned lyrics to the Pokémon Karaokémon songs, and one without them. These textless versions were likely meant to be sent to other countries so the dubbers there could insert translated lyrics, but the textless versions managed to be broadcast on Cartoon Network.
