Kenton

Kenton (Japanese: ケンタ Kenta) is a minor recurring character of the Pokémon anime.

History

Kenton debuted in Jostling for the Junior Cup!, where he participated in the Pokémon World Tournament Junior Cup and was Manning's first opponent. However, he was defeated by him and eliminated from the tournament. He made a cameo appearance in Goodbye, Junior Cup - Hello Adventure!, where he lined up with all the other competitors in front of Alder, Cynthia, Caitlin and Freddy O'Martian.

In Curtain Up, Unova League!, Kenton competed in the Vertress Conference. In Mission: Defeat Your Rival!, he appeared on the screen showing the match-ups for the second round of the Conference, meaning that he had made it through the first round. In Lost at the League!, he appeared once again on the screen of the Vertress Conference, now showing the match-ups for the last sixteen, meaning he had made it through the second and third rounds. In the fourth round, he battled Cameron and used his Gigalith to battle Cameron's Riolu. Cameron won and Kenton was eliminated from the tournament, placing him in the Top 16. In A Unova League Evolution!, he appeared once again during the closing ceremonies of the Vertress Conference.

Golett

Debut	Jostling for the Junior Cup!

Golett is the first Pokémon Kenton is known to have on hand. It was used in the first round of the Junior Cup, but it lost to Manning's Heatmor.

Gigalith

Debut	Strong Strategy Steals the Show!

Gigalith was used in the fourth round of the Vertress Conference to battle Cameron's Riolu. It lost, however, and its Trainer was eliminated from the tournament.
