In Latias Flies, Latios and Latias were revealed to have obtained their respective Mega Stones. Using the Latiosite in combination with his Mega Bracelet, Ruby was able to Mega Evolve Latios and soar in the sky. He later Mega Evolved Latios again to battle Zinnia and her Mega Salamence at the Sky Pillar.
Trivia
- Data for Latiosite exists within the code of Pokémon X and Y, despite the Mega Stone not being officially introduced until Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, allowing it to be transferred to and used in X and Y. It shares this trait with the Latiasite.
