The leader (Japanese: 団長 leader) is a recurring character who first appeared in Raid Battle in The Ruins!.
History
He was the leader of the ruins excavation team exploring the newly discovered Colossus Ruins at the Desert Resort. He joined Ash, Goh, Kira, and Shane Seeker in a Raid Battle against a giant Golurk, using his Litwick and Lampent. Eventually, the group defeated Golurk, and Goh subsequently caught it.
He reappeared in a flashback in Restore and Renew! when Ash and Goh mistook the curator for him.
In Trial on a Golden Scale!, he showed Ash and Goh the Volcarona mural found at the Colossus Ruins.
He was later seen in a fantasy in Out of Their Elements! and in another flashback in Battling in the Freezing Raid!.

Litwick is the leader's first known Pokémon. It was used in a Raid Battle against a giant Golurk, but it retreated from the battle when Golurk simply repelled its attack.
It reappeared in flashbacks in Restore and Renew! and Battling in the Freezing Raid!.
Litwick's only known move is Fire Spin.
