Release information
This card's artwork was changed between the Japanese and English releases. The original art (also by Akira Komayama) depicts Magmortar pointing its cannon directly at the viewer. While the reason for the change is currently unknown, it is possible The Pokémon Company International deemed this inappropriate and requested the art change, making this card the first censored card art since Moo-Moo Milk in Neo Genesis, released in 2000.
