Origin
Nuikoguma resembles a red panda even more than its evolution, so we should probably add that.
I've found something via Google Translate that might be the name origin too, though obviously Google Translate sucks it's a good starting point. "Nui" means sewing, which could have to do with its stuffed animal or costume-like appearance. "Ui" means firstlings or firstborn, which could have to do with its age. And "koguma" means bear cub (while "guma" means just bear), which is an obvious connection. Nutter Butter (talk) 17:18, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- It also seems to be based on a stuffed animal, given its stuff yet presumably plush and unnatural limbs. As we saw in the trailer, there's also a white tag sticking out from its rear. SpeedXaaa (talk) 17:55, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
Trivia?
Is this notable enough? 'Stufful is the first/only Pokémon to make it's Pokémon GO debut in a community day.' CrazyPikmin (talk) 16:14, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
