Connecting Locations

Is it really safe to assume that Hau'oli City is actually directly to the south of Ten Carat Hill? The fact that the demo has a man guide you from the north end of Hau'oli City to the south end of Ten Carat Hill in the demo does not necessarily indicate that the two locations are actually directly connected, and could in fact be meant to compensate for the two locations being farther apart in the final game. —Andy^P_K^M_N (talk) 22:13, 18 October 2016 (UTC)

Well I can add here that the name Ten Carat Hill is most likely based on Diamond Head by the name alone. I know that it is not enough to establish the connection until we get the full game, but I believe that this is the case for this area. Necrozma

On a similar note, I believe that Sableye can be obtained here, yet its encounter rate is not listed. (So sorry that this does not help with the first point, but it seemed to be in the same vein and I hope that they can share a section!) Erythro (talk) 15:44, 2 December 2016 (UTC)

Sableye is apparently only called by Carbink in SOS Battles. I never encountered one directly. Nescientist (talk) 16:51, 2 December 2016 (UTC)

Maybe they could be represented in a similar manner to the "Special Pokémon" and "Horde Encounter" sections of the Pokémon tables? Something like this?

Friend, Thank you for the information! I am glad to see that Sableye has been added; would you happen to know whether encounter-rates will be put up for those Pokémon that are only called in SOS battles? We don't currently know the rates at which possible allies are called. We have the slots, but not the rate at which each slot is called. --SnorlaxMonster 03:39, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

Transferable rewards

In the Demo Version there is an Ace Trainer who only battles you after you have beaten every other trainer in the area. After beating this Ace Trainer, she gives you a reward that you can transfer to the main games. As I am not sure as to what she gives you (I seem to remember it was 3 Stardust, but as I said, I'm not certain of this). I won't be adding this information myself, but if someone knows what she gives you, it would be nice to have it added to the page.

Jangmo-o Sprite

In the trainer section for the Demo Version for the information on Ace Trainer Sheri's party the sprite for her Jangmo-o displays as Hakamo-o's sprite, this seems to the be the only instance of this (at least on this page) and I checked the edit page to see if I could fix it but it looks like it has something to do with the metadata/template for it. Spinda

Either I've been truly unlucky, or Spinda doesn't appear in the top left grass patch in the Farthest Hollow. Can anyone confirm ? Geographik0903 (talk) 02:07, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

I've had what I would call some pretty bad luck while searching for some Pokemon I wouldn't think would be terribly hard to find. It should be there, though. Just keep trying. How much have you tried? Have you kept any exact track? Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:11, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

I didn't keep track, but as soon as I went to the patch under, a Spinda attacked me instantly. It's hard to tell since the Rotom Map doesn't show the exact spot because this is, technically, a cave ? (Does it mean Dusk Balls have higher chances? Even though the sky clearly shows up) Geographik0903 (talk) 02:37, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

Just because it doesn't show on the map doesn't make it a cave really.

Something like that, where if you just got jumped by a Spinda as soon as you switched, that's pure luck. If you really want, if you keep wandering around the other field, it should show up fine. Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:04, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

Island Scan

Are we sure that Deino can be encountered in the grass? I looked for quite a while and it never showed up, whereas it appeared very easily in the cave. Normally Island Scan Pokémon seem to be quite common. --SnorlaxMonster 10:57, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
