Apex Pokémon (Japanese: 頂点ポケモン Chōten Pokémon) are even stronger variants of Shadow Pokémon. They were first created by Team GO Rocket Leader Arlo. Apex Pokémon Pheomeon was first tested on Legendary Pokémon Lugia and Ho-Oh. They have simmular shadow aura around them like Shadow Mewtwo.

History

Apex Pokémon aura (probably the source of the great energy) was created by mysterious power stolen by Team GO Rocket that was stolen behind the mysterious door that was discovered in Season of Heritage. This new pheomeon was created by Team GO Rocket Leader Arlo. The plan started on 7th February, when Team GO Rocket's Leader Arlo stole the mysterious power. On 15th February everyone already knew about Apex Pokémon.

The Player Character eventually rescues Shadow Apex Lugia and Shadow Apex Ho-Oh.
