The Lucky Egg (Japanese: しあわせタマゴ Lucky Egg) is a type of item introduced in Generation II.
In the core series games
Price
In the Generation V games, the Lucky Egg can be sold to the gourmet maniac on Route 5 for $200.
Effect
The holding Pokémon gains 150% the experience it would otherwise gain. This effect stacks with other experience-increasing effects, such as different-OT Pokémon's naturally boosted experience gain. It does not affect experience gained from Auto Battles.

Acquisition
Lucky Eggs can be purchased at any time from the in-game Shop with PokéCoins. The player will also receive a Lucky Egg at level 9 and every 5 levels starting from level 10.
In the anime
In First Catch in Alola, Ketchum-Style!, Rotom Pokédex mentioned the Lucky Egg when describing Blissey.
In the TCG

The Lucky Egg was introduced as a Pokémon Tool Trainer card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Platinum Series (the Japanese Platinum Era) in the Arceus expansion. It was first reprinted in Sword & Shield.
If the Pokémon it is attached to is Knocked Out and put in the discard pile by damage from an opponent's attack, the player draws cards until they have 7 cards in their hand.
