By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Lucario

It is a Generation IV Pokémon. Its appearance in a Generation III movie does not change a thing. The generation used for classification is the first generation in which the Pokémon is legitimately obtainable in the video games (In Lucario's case, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl of Generation IV). So, please, stop adding to Lucario's page that it's a Generation III Pokémon. Continued addition of this incorrect information will be considered edit warring & will result in a temporary block. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 12:54, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

its not false information by that logic bulbasaur is not a generation 1 pokemon its a generation 1,2,3,4 and 5 pokemon- unsigned comment from Yoster10 (talkcontribs)

Did you even read her post? She said "The generation used for classification is the first generation in which the Pokémon is legitimately obtainable in the video games".--Den Zen 16:37, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

it should be first appearance in anything not the video game's first appearance.- unsigned comment from Yoster10 (talkcontribs)

Is this enough proof that Lucario is definitely generation IV Pokémon: Lucario's National Pokédex number is 448, which is between Riolu and Hippopotas, two Pokémon that didn't appear before Diamond and Pearl versions.
By the way, your grammar is very bad and unsuitable for for articles. Please improve it before you continue editing.--Den Zen 23:02, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

ok then so does that mean mewtwo is not even a generation pokemon because he is a clone

ok i will. is that why my edit about muk dissapeared? - unsigned comment from Yoster10 (talkcontribs)

Your edits were reverted because it was unneeded and poorly written. Second, sign your comments with 4 tildes. A tilde is this thing ~. Lastly, no. Mewtwo is a gen I Pokemon. Ataro 01:47, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
I don't understand your conclusions at all; why would Mewtwo's Pokédex number (150) make it (not him) a generationless? Also, your edits didn't only have horrible grammar, but using the word "you" and adding notes like "I am not sure if it is still sold in shops" or "this is not false information" on wiki articles is very unsuitable.--Den Zen 16:27, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! ----Pokemaster97 23:16, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Ok cheers. Yoster10 01:15, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

Resigning Comments

Please note that you are not allowed to resign unsigned comments. This is because it throws off the time stamp of the comment and makes it confusing for other users to see when it was made. If you forgot to sign a comment (or see someone who has) please use the {{unsigned}} template. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 23:59, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day and make sure you contribute to our mainspace more than your userspace. This policy was instated to prevent promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our server. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 20:58, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

Linking

When linking to Pokémon species and moves please use the {{p}} and {{m}} templates respectively instead of the standard pipe links. For example to link to Pikachu use {{p|Pikachu}} to get Pikachu. To link to Splash use {{m|Splash}} to get Splash. Thanks! --Pokemaster97 21:07, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Ok then, thankyou for that. Yoster10 22:03, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Userspace

Hey, just wanted to let you know that you've edited your userspace six times in the past two days. Not only have you gone over the limit today, but you haven't edited the mainspace at all in the past month. The Userspace policy states that you need "at least one more mainspace edit than userspace per person per day", but you haven't done any recently. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 21:38, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

Userspace

You've been told to hold back from editing your userspace and contribute more to the mainspace. Twelve edits in two days with no mainspace edits is absolutely unacceptable. Your userspace privileges have hereby been revoked. You will get them back when you earn them after becoming a constructive contributor. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 00:09, 25 March 2013 (UTC)

Jessie's Woobat

Where did you get the idea that Jessie's Woobat evolved into Swoobat. The last time I saw it was when Team Rocket's cruise ship was sinking and it didn't even evolve. PattyMan 01:28, 4 August 2013 (UTC)

It didn't, he just inserted false information. Don't do that again. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 02:14, 4 August 2013 (UTC)

I think you both have misunderstood, in the episode Jessie was using Woobat but in a different episode before her Woobat evolved into a Swoobat. Yoster10 (talk) 21:32, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but it hasn't. If you really believe so, you must've heard/seen false information somewhere. Anyway, don't add anything pertaining to Woobat having evolved again to any page, as it isn't true. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 21:42, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

Jessie has had a Swoobat before though, maybe that episode had the mistake then. Yoster10 (talk) 16:21, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
