This card is one of the 46 cards first released in September 2003 in the English EX Sandstorm expansion before the release of their Japanese prints. The Japanese print was later released on October 24 in the Magma VS Aqua: Two Ambitions expansion.

Origin
Rollout is a move in the Pokémon games that Wailmer can learn. Super Hypno Wave's Japanese name is that of Water Pulse, a move which Wailmer can also learn. This card's e-Reader Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sapphire.
