Revision as of 05:03, 9 September 2007
- Because of the high-profile events that some of these cards were available at, the Nintendo Promotional cards are regarded as more collectible than those produced by Wizards of the Coast, as they were harder to obtain and therefore much rarer. Some cards were limited to quite small print runs, making them especially sought after.
- The "PROMO" symbol on these cards is much smaller than the one used on Wizards' Promotional cards.
- A number of these cards have two or more versions (with a holographic version or a special stamp from specific events). The cards listed here are the regular versions (before any alternatives were released), the other versions are listed in other articles.

DP Promo Collection
- With the release of Diamond & Pearl, Nintendo followed a similar pattern to the Japanese Promotional card naming system and started to number their Promotional cards with the prefix DP. This is the first time any of the English Promotional cards have featured a prefix for a numbering system.
