Sparkling Aria (Japanese: うたかたのアリア Bubble Aria) is a damage-dealing Water-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Primarina, though Lapras can also inherit it via breeding.
It can be upgraded to the special Z-Move Oceanic Operetta by Primarina holding Primarium Z.
Effect
Sparkling Aria inflicts damage to all adjacent Pokémon, including allies. If the target was burned, the burn is healed. Burned Pokémon are not healed of their burns if the move does not affect them.
Sparkling Aria is a sound-based move. Sparkling Aria can hit Pokémon even if they are behind a substitute.
Normally, Pokémon with the Ability Shield Dust will not have their burn cured by the move; however, if the move targets multiple Pokémon in a Double Battle or Battle Royal, they will be cured.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Sparkling Aria cannot be selected in a battle.
