Lovely Kiss (Japanese: あくまのキッス Demon's Kiss) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It is the signature move of Jynx.
It appears to be the sleep counterpart to Sweet Kiss.
Effect
Generation I
Lovely Kiss causes the target to fall asleep.
In the Generation I handheld games only, Lovely Kiss can affect a target behind a substitute.
Generation II
In the Generation II core series games, when an in-game opponent outside of the Battle Tower uses Lovely Kiss, the move has a 25% chance to fail in addition to its normal chance to miss.
Generations III to VII
Pokémon with Insomnia or Vital Spirit as their Ability are unaffected by Lovely Kiss. Pokémon under the effect of Sweet Veil are also unaffected by Lovely Kiss.
Lovely Kiss can be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, causing certain moves (Dream Eater, Hex, Nightmare, and Wake-Up Slap) to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.
If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-Lovely Kiss, the user's Speed stat is raised by one stage.
Generation VIII
In Versions 1.0 to 1.2.1 of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Lovely Kiss could not be selected in a battle. Starting with Version 1.3.0, it is usable and functions the same as it did in previous generations.
Generation IX
Lovely Kiss cannot be selected in a battle.

Trivia
- In the game data of Pokémon Gold and Silver, Smoochum is programmed to learn Lovely Kiss as an Egg Move, but no male Pokémon that can know it are in Smoochum's Egg Group, making it impossible to pass down the move legitimately. It no longer has it as an Egg Move in Pokémon Crystal.
- Its Japanese name correlates with its animations in the Generation II and III games, as well as Battle Revolution, in which a demon floats down from the top of the screen and kisses the opponent.
- A similar situation occurs with Sweet Kiss prior to Generation VII.
