Route 122 is a circular north-south water route in central Hoenn. The route, home to Mt. Pyre, the mammoth natural Pokémon memorial located in the center of the water, links land-based Route 121 to the north with Route 123 to the south. The route encircles Mt. Pyre, a mountain honoring the souls of dead Pokémon, much like Route 126 encircles what is said to be Mt. Pyre's counterpart, the Cave of Origin.
Route description
Not much can be said regarding Route 122. Other than Mt. Pyre, there are no points of interest along the route, which forms a ring around the mountain of an island in the center.
The entrance to Mt. Pyre is located near the southern end of the route at Route 123.
