Route 134 (Japanese: 134番水道 Water Route 134) is a water route in south-central Hoenn, connecting Route 133 and Slateport City. The route is dominated for most of its length by a rapid current that prohibits any controlled movement while Surfing, thus making it a westbound route only. The Sealed Chamber is located underwater near the eastern end of the route. It is the final numbered route in Hoenn.
Route description
Along with Routes 132 and 133, Route 134 brings the player back from Pacifidlog Town to complete one of the many loops of the Hoenn region.
Many of the same Pokémon that appeared on the previous sea routes are found here, as are many powerful Trainers on the islets along the way. TwoRS or threeE such Trainers are found on a large "U"-shaped island in the center of the route just west of the eastern terminus.
Additionally, this route is home to the Sealed Chamber, the underwater cavern that unlocks the caves of the legendary giants, Regice, Regirock, and Registeel. To access the chamber, Trainers must depart from an island in the southeast corner of the route to travel west along the current and reach a deep spot in the route, where Trainers can Dive to the ocean floor to reach the chamber's entrance.
South of the U-shaped island is a tiny island holding a single TrainerRS or a pair of TrainersE. To the west of this spot is a large island, barren in Ruby and Sapphire but home to two Trainers and an item in Emerald. Northwest of the island, the current that dominated the previous three routes comes to an end at the northeastern edge of Slateport City.
Items
All items on Route 134 can only be accessed with the use of Surf.

Trivia
- The Swimmer that appears in the Ruby & Sapphire arc of Pokémon Adventures is based on Swimmer Jack, who appears in this route. Like Fisherman Wilton before him, Jack shares his Japanese name with the manga's author, Hidenori Kusaka.
- The fast current tiles going through Routes 131 to 134 are likely inspired by the Tsushima Current, which branches from the northbound Kuroshio Current up the west coast of Japan and into the Sea of Japan. Since Hoenn is a 90° rotated Kyushu, its current travels westward along its southern coast.
