Similar to Five Island, and its counterpart, {{OBP|Seven Island|town}}, not much emphasis is put on the area within the town itself, instead the vast area near the island is the target of a Trainer's true calling. This includes [[Ruin Valley]], the [[Dotted Hole]] at the center of which holds the Sapphire deep below it.

Location of Six Island in Sevii Islands.

Six Island (Japanese: 6のしま Island 6) is a small town, much like Five Island, and is on a large island called Six Island.

Many say that the view of the stars in Six Island is amazing, away from the bright city lights of more populated regions such as Kanto.

The background music used in Six Island is a remix of the music played in Violet City and Olivine City of Johto.

Upon entering the Pokémon Center in town, Blue tells the player that he has seen enough of the Sevii Islands and that he is returning to Kanto to work on his Pokédex. It is after this that he returns to claim the title of Pokémon Champion with his new team of Pokémon.
