Power Trip (Japanese: つけあがる Be Audacious) is a damage-dealing Dark-type move introduced in Generation VII. Prior to Generation VIII, it was the signature move of Krookodile, but other Pokémon could still inherit it via breeding.

Effect

Power Trip deals damage. It normally has a base power of 20, but gains 20 power for every increased stat stage the user has. Stats decreased below normal do not affect this move's base power.

Its maximum possible base power is 860. This occurs when all seven of the user's stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed, evasion, and accuracy) have been raised the maximum six stages.

Generation VIII

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Power Trip cannot be selected in a battle.
