Body Slam is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation I.
In the anime
The Pokémon falls on top of the opponent and hits it with its belly.
Pokémon
Slugma. It jump to fall with more force.
- Used by Flannery's Slugma in Going, Going, Yawn! in a oficial battle against Ash Ketchum.
Torkoal. It extends its arms when it falls.
- Used by Ash's Torkoal from Pearls are a Spoink's Best Friend to ???. Its first time was against James's Cacnea.
Effect
Generation I
Body Slam does damage and has a 29.7% chance of paralyzing its opponent. It can't paralyze an opponent that has a substitute or already has a major status ailment.
