Appendix:Emerald walkthrough/Section 10

This part of the Walkhrough shall help you through the Hoenn region in Emerald starting with route 120

Route 120

Now that you have defeated Winona, go to the right and enter into route 120. You will see Gabby and Ty who will interview you if you talk to them. They are found at the point where the route turns. Apart from that, the player can surf to reach the Scorched Slab. You find TM 11 there. After beating Gabby and Ty and exploring the Scorched Slab, You will find Bird Keeper Robert at the next turn in the grass.

Route 121

Now, after having crossed route 120, you shall reach Route 121. It is famous for the Safari Zone , but it also has a tree Secret Base, which can be accessed by Secret Power. There are a lot of trainers located too. Near the Safari Zone, there are Sr. and Jr. Kate and Joy. There are a lot of other items too.

After exploring, go on to Lilycove City which is around a bend.

Lilycove City

Lilycove City is a very flourishing city with its Contest Hall and Department Store. There is also the Cove Lily Motel which is unpopular and empty due to Team Aqua having raided the establishment. In the North East of the city lies the Art Museum. The curator, who is standing beside the stairs to the first floor explains that he is looking for portraits of Pokémon. These may be obtained by winning the Master Class of the Pokémon Contests for each category.

To the East lies Route 124, but for the moment it is blocked by an Aqua Grunt attempting to train some Wailmer.
