Silver's Feraligatr (Japanese: シルバーのオーダイル Silver's Ordile) was one of the Pokémon that Silver owns in the Pokémon Adventures manga. Silver acquired it by stealing it from Professor Elm while in Johto.
History
Silver stole this Totodile from Professor Elm as one of Lance's missions. Later on, he refused to return when Gold attempted to bring it back to Prof. Elm since he grew attached to Silver. He soon evolved into a Croconaw after defeating a trap together with Gold's Cyndaquil in the Sprout Tower, and in this new form he was seen around Silver frequently, including his first meeting with the Masked Man and in a match with Gold, where he overwhelmed the newly evolved Exbo with its Water Gun.
In the battle against Lugia at the Whirl Islands, he evolved into his final stage together with Exbo and Megaree, and used his Surf as Silver's other two water Pokémon used Waterfall and Whirlpool so that he may enter Lance's hidden chamber.
Teaming up with the other starter Pokémon at the time, Feraligatr faced Will and Karen in the final battle, defeating the former with its Return attack, and participated in the final battle against the Masked Man.
In the FireRed & LeafGreen arc, he was scarcely seen, however, he uses Hydro Pump with his teammates to propel the plummeting Team Rocket battleship to stop it from hitting Vermilion City.
In the Emerald arc, he learned Hydro Cannon, from Kimberly's bracelets, after Silver and the other Pokédex owners were unpetrified, in an unbelievably short time, even moreso than Green and the Hoenn Pokédex holders. Meanwhile, it took Gold two months to perfect his technique.
Personality and characteristics
Since its debut it showed to be a quite competitive Pokémon, he appears to care very much about Silver to the point of not responding to Gold and Exbo's plea to come back. This is further expressed when his most powerful friendship-related attack changes from Frustration to Return to highlight its trust and loyalty toward his Trainer.

In the games
In Johto-based games, if player's Starter Pokémon is Cyndaquil, Silver's game counterpart will steal a Totodile which later evolves twice and can be battled twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
