Notability of putting the use of a move by only one trainer in the anime in the Trivia sectionI just wanted the opinion of a pro; I have noticed that in the anime, only one trainer was shown to command the move Minimize and Giga Drain. Nurse Joy was the only one to ever command Minimize and Paul was the only one to ever command Giga Drain. Do you think this is notable to put in the trivia sections of both pages? Ataro says that it is not, but he won't give me a good enough reason why. I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 14:54, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
I don't get itWhy is it that this LegandofThor2 user keeps on creating multiple accounts and coming back here despite being told multiple times not to? PattyMan 20:44, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
Trapinch EditJust wondering: Why did you think my Trapinch trivia wasn't notable (the one about learning Dig)? Aggron989 (talk) 01:51, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Template RequestHey Jo, I was wondering if you could help me with something. On the new Dungeon location pages (like this one for example), has the items listed without a template or anything to go along with it. IMO, it's rather plain looking the way it is now. Do you think you could somehow find or develop a template that could be used to list MD game items? Thanks for da help. --Pokemaster97 01:34, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Ok,I got itThanks for telling me to do that.So I will just go to those pages and delete the trivia on sprites.27thcolt (talk) 09:51, 21 December 2012 (UTC) Editing againAs to many important events are happening in these last episodes I would like to earn back my privilege of editing again.I won't be abusing again.I will respect the rules. Please I need to create new articles that may be taken in use.I will not abuse again. ★Alex★ Water 23:01, 23 December 2012 (UTC) RequestListen Jo. Up until now, I have been thinking about every mainspace edit I have made since you revoked my userspace rights. And I've come to a conclusion that I have made a lot of edits since then. And, I want to ask if you think I'm ready to have my userspace rights reinstated. Before you answer, I want you to think about how much I have used and appreciated your benevolence, but I absolutely want you to forget about how I assumed nonchalance in you. I now trust you as someone who can help guide me, and you have earned your place as my favorite administrator. Just please take some time to think about all of this. When you finish thinking, please tell me. Do you think I am ready to have my userspace rights reinstated? (I can take no for an answer.) Thanks so much. the great MIKORO (talk to me) 03:32, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
Template: Starter PokémonI don't know about you, but I think the template for the Starter Pokémon needs some major changes. For example, we can remove the Rumble and MD starters and replace them with the Conquest. Also, having the yellow starters pushed to the left makes it look a little wierd. Maybe they should in the middle (right under Johto and Unova).Iml908 (talk) 00:52, 9 January 2013 (UTC) Copyright violation? Here it is. About the changes you made to the Join Avenue articleI don't want to revert everything you did, but neither do I feel like putting in the enormous amount of work it would take to correct your mistakes. So I'm asking, could you please do that yourself? I think you'd figure out where you went wrong if you read the article, but I can provide some main points:
There's more, but I may be able to take care of that myself, after you've cleaned up. Yvnr (talk) 08:11, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

Join AvenueI've noticed the inuse template has been removed from the Join Avenue page, was this done by you regarding you've finished, or was this done by someone else? Would it be alright if I made the edit that I posted on the talk page? I didn't do it because the template is used for 200+ pages, and I didn't want to crash the server. Thanks. — Reshi643 22:57, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

Question
Hi. I haven't been on Bulbapedia for a really long time, and I have two "sub-userpages" (I'm not quite sure what they're called). I made them both when I was, like, nine, and they're really stupid to me now, and I don't need them. Is there a way that I can delete them, or does an admin have to do that? Thank you for reading. EvilKirikizan speaking! 05:37, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
- An admin has to delete them, but it's no trouble. Just post links and I'll take care of them. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 13:02, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

Speculation?
The video showed a picture of an official magazine, therefore it would count as seeing it in a magazine- even though I don't get the magazines. Talk pages are the place to discuss things you have seen and put together speculation until you get the truth. If I had put it on the page then it would be speculation. I believe that this is overreaction, as I was just sharing what I had found to make sure all info is collected. Nutter Butter (talk) 00:34, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
- It wasn't an official magazine though, nor was it any magazine at all. You have to be really cautious around the time a game is scheduled to be released as there are a lot of people posting fakes and hoaxes. It wasn't an overreaction, I'd just prefer people did a little more research on their own before asking us. Plus, we have a section on the forums specifically for this kind of discussion. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 01:02, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
- Then what is the point of a talk page? Also please reply on my talk page when you get this- that way I at least know you did reply. I did research on it and found the same thing over and over again, so I asked you and you got mad. Talk pages were designed to discuss opinions and even speculation to decide what's true. Nutter Butter (talk) 17:52, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- Generally, the point of a talk page is to discuss the content on the article. I wasn't mad, I was just doing my job. I didn't realize there was a discussion on the legitimacy of the videos, however, and I thought you were simply posting links to false sources. So I do apologize for that. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 01:03, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

Pokemon x and y trainer names.
The trainer names for Yvonne/Xavier are not Serena or Calem. Those are only the counterpart names for the rivals. - unsigned comment from RedPearbook (talk • contribs)

I want to ask you this...
...why did you resize every pokemon image so they're something like 350x350 instead of something like 350x199? I find it pointless. - unsigned comment from MaleCombee (talk • contribs)
- Because we need every piece of official Pokémon artwork to be perfectly square for what we have intended for them in the future. That's why lately the staff has changed the artwork to be square in size. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 03:39, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
Strange activity
Hey Jo, I've noticed some strange activity going on around the wiki, and I thought the staff should know about it. On some pages, incorrect sprites/images are depicted for what is trying to be shown. I have seen this around many different pages, one of them being on Ash's Buizel's page and another being on Dawn's Mamoswine's page. the great MIKORO (talk to me) 03:21, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

- Jo, I found another error. Close Combat has the Grass-colored font. I'll email the screenshot to you. the great MIKORO (talk to me) 23:44, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- According to the code, it's not {{grass color}}, it's {{special defense color dark}}. Now, why it's using a stat color instead of a type color is a mystery to me... Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 00:45, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
- I changed it to Fighting, though I don't know if that is the correct way in doing it though, considering that
{{Agility}}
is Normal color, even though the move is a Psychic-type move. — Reshi643 01:22, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

Left 4 Dead wiki
Hello. First of all, I would like to apologize for contacting you here, but I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to talk to an administrator when I'm blocked on a site... My username is Foxi Hooves on the Left 4 Dead Wiki.
The block was made by 06abrahb.
Reason given: Inserting nonsense/gibberish into pages: counter-productive editing Start of block: 00:15, August 27, 2013 Expiry of block: 00:15, August 30, 2013 Intended blockee: Foxi Hooves Block ID: #1197 Current IP address: 72.184.235.236
The information 06abrahb and I have come to disagree over, and which resulted in my block, is as follows:
"At the beginning safe room, next to the vending machine, is a poster for the Healthy Workers Medical Group. The number listed on the paper leads to a hotline for a free cruise that will make a stop in the Florida Keys, where the Survivors are heading."
This information was added to the following pages, under the following sections:
The Barge - Easter Eggs Port Finale - Easter Eggs
The initial confrontation occured due to my improper use of the Bahamas, rather than the Florida Keys. This was changed in the next edit. It was after 06abrahb undid my edit that I undid his, and was blocked.
I feel that the information is relevant and has been placed in the appropriate sections since the phone number listed (800-555-1957) leads to a cruise line that has a registered stop in the Florida Keys, where the original survivors are seeking refuge.
My recent attempts to contact the number have failed, however, but 06abrahb has failed to give reasonable explanations for the reversion of my edits. Had they stated that the number does not work, after calling it themselves, then they would have been justified. But they did not. Foxi Hooves (talk) 01:16, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
- I think it's just coincidence that the number is connected to a cruise line and you should stop calling the number. Unless someone at Valve admits that it was put there on purpose and that they own the number or something, it's just coincidence. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 01:32, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
- Alright. So, was my ban justified, since 06abrahb never gave any explanation as to why my edits were reverted, or why I was banned, save for "Inserting nonsense/gibberish into pages: counter-productive editing."?
Also, I've just sent an email to a few Valve employees, so we'll get an answer in a few weeks, hopefully.Foxi Hooves (talk) 01:48, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Steel (type) page
Nice update on the Steel type. Did you know there is a trivia piece on that page that needs to be updated as well. -Tyler53841 (talk) 22:25, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- Would you mind telling me which one and what needs changing? I'm updating a template at the moment so I can't really focus on trivia at the moment. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 22:28, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- The third to last since before Dark and Ghost-type were removed, the Steel-type had something to do with every other type. All it needs is just a minor update, since this prospect existed from Generation II-V. On another note the new Fairy-type was not added yet for the new battle properties in Generation VI. -Tyler53841 (talk) 22:32, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah I noticed that last bit myself just a bit ago. :'D But I figured I'd add it when I update the page with your suggestion. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 22:41, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Relicant
Hi. I would have been more than happy to take three days for the team if it meant someone was keeping a closer eye on Relicant, but sadly, that does not seem to have happened. She has continued to be abrasive and petulant without meriting even a verbal warning (and I'm not even getting into all the things she's gotten off scot-free with prior to our disagreement three days ago).
I cannot fathom the staff's behavior toward Relicant; you seem to be automatically treating her with the "fresh start" she so desperately wants, despite the fact that her behavior has barely changed. Yes, yes, innocent until proven guilty, but I think she's proven herself quite guilty by now, and made no significant steps to prove she's changed anything but the specific behavior of adding hidden comments.
I will certainly follow your orders to take my complaints to your and other staff members' talk pages rather than hers or Talk: namespace ones. However, Relicant is an enormous problem and I absolutely cannot "calm down" or drop the issue until the problem is solved — either by her good behavior or by ban. Thank you for your time. See you here again the next time Relicant acts up. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 03:55, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- Well, that didn't take long. Insubordination, edit warring with a staff member, and continuing to disruptively spam that Reshiram party sprite in unrelated discussions. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 17:35, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- Would you kindly stop this "rivalry" 0192? You seem to have a vendetta against me and I'm personally sick of you talking about me. --The Truth aka Relicant 17:40, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- It's obvious the staff already know about it, especially given the fact that they're arguing with one. The edit war wasn't that severe, and if Nate ever feels like action should be taken, he has the power to make it happen. The argument is heated, but no one has blatantly insulted the other. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 22:18, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

- Sorry to interrupt on somebody else matter, but why's this always happening with Pumpkin, their must be some problem. I guess?--Viv (talk) 07:53, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- How do you mean, this is "always happening" with me? I take offense to highly disruptive users, but to my memory, that's only ever been Relicant and Spyspotter (the latter of whom is currently permabanned, and thus no longer an issue). My usual formality/bluntness is just the way I speak; it's no indication that I have a problem with anyone. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 08:14, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- Viv, that was completely uncalled for and extremely rude. Don't make comments like that in future. Pumpkinking, if someone says something like that, please just let a staff member know and don't respond - replying only adds fuel to the fire, so to speak.
- The next person to carry on this conversation, whether on this talk page or another, gets blocked for a minimum of a week. This argument is over. Werdnae (talk) 10:06, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

How to refer to beta/pre-release elements of the games?
Relicant seems to be pushing for removal of the word "beta" from our pre-release articles, to the point of renaming the relevant section on every main series game article earlier today (see here for an example). Shouldn't such a wide-sweeping change have gone through discussion first? I'm not sure whether beta or "pre-release"/"development cycle" is more correct (I know the former is only a part of the latter, but it sure seems like we don't have any info on alpha versions, at least to me), but "beta" is definitely the long-standing usage, so a change should definitely have been discussed somewhere, much like the change from EVs to base stats. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 15:47, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Query
Umm.., Just out of CurIoSity I wanted to ask you that, Why the images of the Pokémon are not official artwork of Ken I don't know much about archives that's why I asked this --Viv (talk) 15:01, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
- You mean why are we using Dream World art for some of the Pokémon? Because not all the Pokémon have Sugimori art released at the moment, so we're using what we've got, and luckily we've got all the Dream World art. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 15:07, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
Relicant again
She's trying to antagonize me on my talk page about an administrative decision I have no input on. I've tried to keep my responses short, to-the-point and neutral, and from this point on will not be responding to her at all. I leave it in your hands. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 15:45, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
Now she's butting in on conversations to make irrelevant and insufferable complaints about the term "beta". Our beta pages are already in line for a renaming discussion on the forum, so her continued dead-horse-beating about it is becoming annoyingly disruptive. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 19:02, 16 November 2013 (UTC)- Never mind; already addressed by another staff member almost simultaneously to my posting this. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 19:03, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
She is now refusing other users', including ArcToraphim's, insistence that her addition to Siebold is unnecessary, and she has re-added the information three times in a row. Edit warring? Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 21:22, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- Can I also report her for all the irritating "mayhap"s she's lately been spamming in edit summaries? It's just like her complaints about Bisharp (before she got bored of that), her hidden comments (before she got temporarily banned for them) and the Reshiram party sprite she continues to spam on talk pages: There's no point to it and yet she feels the need to do it almost everywhere she goes. I'm really sick of her trolling in general, but this is especially grinding on my last nerve. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 04:29, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- Continued trolling: writing inaccurate edit summaries in which she claims to be doing something she had been repeatedly overruled on. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 14:58, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Further harping on Georgia's Bisharp, which she has been repeatedly told (including by Kenji-Girl, iirc) doesn't merit its own page. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 15:10, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- Continued trolling: writing inaccurate edit summaries in which she claims to be doing something she had been repeatedly overruled on. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 14:58, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Despite being "a joke, can't u see" (see also every single revision since she created it), Relicant's user page is outrageously abusing our guidelines on image use. I know it's a user page, but still. "A joke" should not be a viable reason for something to waste our server space (see: our userspace guidelines on games, missions, riddles, etc; I think this falls under the same spirit), and there is no other plausible reason for this abuse. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 17:24, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
- And now she's repeatedly harassing me on my talk page about the fact that I reported this to you. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 21:36, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Information
Jo, the warning on the top of the page says that we cannot steal information from other sites. Does this include sprites and other images? Because Serebii seems to have all of the Generation VI sprites, but I want to get clearance before I copy them. I wasn't sure if "information" literally meant information or if it was a broad term for "anything at all". the great MIKORO (talk to me) 14:48, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
- Anything. We've had Serebii get angry in the past when users would take his images and upload them here. Likewise, they're not supposed to take anything from us. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 18:32, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. I can't help wondering where they got them from... maybe I can find out and take them from there instead. the great MIKORO (talk to me) 19:46, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
- As far as I know, he has a capture device so he probably gets them off the Poké Dex screen as he registers them. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 03:34, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- But how does he remove the background and everything else like that? I didn't think it was possible to make something in need of a lot of changes (to be adequate) so phantasmagoric... the great MIKORO (talk to me) 13:38, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- There are hundreds of photo-editing softwares out there. Photoshop, and GIMP are two popular ones. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 15:40, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oh. I never thought of that. Thanks. And by the way, can you take me off forced preview? I do still want it, but I would rather have it set under my preferences instead of an administrative punishment. I just don't want to come across as an incompetent user to other administrators who are able to see which users are under which types of punishments. the great MIKORO (talk to me) 17:28, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

Dub stuff
Seeing that you're in regular contact with Tom Wayland, can you do so regarding the characters, Okura, Tokuzō, and Anima since they are missing dub names and voice actors, and Tom usually solves the problem? The former two have been out for a while so they would be more likely forgotten. PattyMan 04:46, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
shinydex
I think we should make a "shiny dex" which would have the shiny sprites of all the Pokemon. It could be one page and just have the shiny sprites of each pokemon alongside a link to their page. It would make trying to find a pokemonx shiny form a lot easier and now that x and y has been out for nearly two months we should know the shiny forms of most all of them now, so I can't think of a better time to start. Should we do it? MawileCeyvis (talk) 19:48, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
- Just check this page. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 20:13, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
- Wow thanks! But it does need Kalos pokemon, I'll see if I can help with that. MawileCeyvis (talk) 04:26, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
One of these days I'll understand this mess
So, just while digging around, I found this discussion that I started a few months ago. While I understand the responses... maybe someone can one day explain to me all of this. My apologies if I sound like I'm prying into the past of Bulbapedia, but my curiosity gets the better of me sometimes. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 07:25, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- It's not important. Don't worry about it. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 08:53, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- Very well. I shall not. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 05:43, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Project Trivia
I was wondering if I could start project trivia. But it seems like it would not be needed. I said this to an administrator.
"Do you know if a project on trivia sections would be useful? Maybe could start it? I like to edit trivia sections, like on the page of Pikachu, I stated that Pikachu is the only usable Pokémon in the Japanese Pokémon Stadium that is not fully evolved."
I also asked her if I should ask an Editorial Board. Then she said I should ask an Editorial Board but, she also said we try not focus on trivia sections. So do you think I could start this, or would it be unneeded? - unsigned comment from Ethan7 (talk • contribs)
- Personally I think a Trivia Project is completely unnecessary. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 23:50, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
Another Question
I have another question. You know how there are texts you can click on to "Show/Hide" other texts. I was wondering you could tell me the coding to make those. Thanks.----Ethan (Talk) 03:33, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
Knock, knock...
Hello! Just a factual question here. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I didn't know where else to turn. Anyways, I'm playing my FireRed game, and looking at the article for Trainer Tower, I see that some of the pokémon are holding some pretty impressive and rare items. So, I boot up my TM46 thief for Raichu, and tackle the tower. And I use thief. Twice. To no avail. What went wrong? Is it just that thief isn't 100% foolproof, or the facility won't allow for theft (yes, I made sure Chu wasn't holding anything)? Thanks in advance, and if you respond here, that's fine, but preferably my talk page, please? Anyway, toodles! --SillyWynaut96 (talk) 19:23, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- I imagine any stolen items are given back to the other trainer after the battle. The thing about Towers and Frontier-like facilities is that they pretty much reset once you leave. (That's why none of the Pokémon seen are recorded in the Poké Dex.) I haven't played FireRed in years, so I'm just going off the mechanics of Thief around that time. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 21:20, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- Okay... Sigh, I guess I'll never have my liechi berry...--SillyWynaut96 (talk) 23:12, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
Egg Hatch Template Request for Use
May I please use the Egg Hatch Template on your talk page in my own talk page? Groudon 60 (talk) 17:56, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- I would have really preferred you wait for my response before you started using them. Had you waited, I would have said yes, but I can't let theft go unpunished. Please remove my templates from your talk page, and write your own codes. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 22:20, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ya sorry about that, but I was actually just putting it there so I would remember it in case you said yes; I have a horrible memory, and just wanted to watch it hatch, knowing otherwise I would have forgotten to check here. Now the question is, where are you supposed to code on Bulbapedia? I know how to, but where do I type it up? Everyone's templates are always just links. As a matter of fact, I almost forgot just now to sign this.... :O -Groudon 60 (talk) 18:27, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
