Effect
Generation VII
Oceanic Operetta inflicts damage and has no secondary effect.
Generation VIII
Oceanic Operetta cannot be selected in a battle.
Description
|
Learnset
Primarina can use Oceanic Operetta if it knows Sparkling Aria, holds a Primarium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-RingSM or Z-Power RingUSUM.
In the anime
The user summons a massive water bubble using its Z-Power and sends it towards the target before causing the bubble to burst. | |||
Pokémon | Method | ||
---|---|---|---|
User | First Used In | Notes | |
Primarina strikes a series of synchronized poses with its Trainer to build Z-Power. It then sings a song and generates a gigantic water bubble from its nose. Primarina then moves the bubble over to the opponent and sings another song, causing the bubble to burst. | |||

Trivia
- During the animation of Oceanic Operetta, Primarina's body is reversed symmetrically, with its tail on the right side of its body instead of its left. This change is not apparent for any other Pokémon or Z-Move.
- Despite its name, and the fact that it is an upgraded version of Sparkling Aria, Oceanic Operetta is not a sound-based move.
