Dwebble (Japanese: イシズマイ Ishizumai) is a Bug/Rock Pokémon introduced in Generation V.

It evolves into Crustle starting at level 34.

Biology

Physiology

Dwebble without its rock

Dwebble resemble orange hermit crabs, with large pincers and dark, oval-shaped eyes supported by eye stalks. Its shell, however, is comprised of a sectioned chunk of gray rock. It has a hook-like tail that is concealed underneath the rock, possibly used to keep the rock in place.

Gender differences

None.

Special abilities

It is known that Dwebble firstly inspect a rock to see if it could become a good home. It then starts to dig a hole, chip off pieces, and uses a special liquid to dissolve the rock. When done it uses its hook-like tail to grapple onto it.

Behavior

If the rock where it lives breaks, it won't calm down until it can find another rock to replace it.

Habitat

It lives in the rocks where it bore a hole.
