Origin
Appearance-wise, seems like a cross between a European dragon and a shark.
Name origin
Fukamaru's name may be a combination of 鱶 fuka, shark, and 丸 maru, common historical name suffix for boys. Gible may be a combination of ground and nibble. Its German name, Kaumalat, comes from kauen. Its Frech name, Griknot, comes from grignoter and quenotte.
