Rototiller (Japanese: たがやす Plow) is a non-damaging Ground-type move introduced in Generation VI.
Effect
Generations VI to VII
Rototiller raises the Attack and Special Attack stats of all grounded Grass-type Pokémon on the field by one stage, except those that are in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Fly or Dig. Rototiller fails if there are no eligible Grass-type Pokémon.
Rototiller can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, causing certain moves (Bullet Seed, Leech Seed, Seed Bomb and Worry Seed) to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.
If powered up by a Groundium Z into Z-Rototiller, the user's Attack stat rises by one stage.
Generation VIII
Rototiller cannot be selected in a battle.
