Pokémon world locations

Berry Forest (Japanese: きのみのもり Berry Forest) is a forest located on Three Island at the end of Bond Bridge. It is particularly notable for its regenerating hidden Berries.

Lostelle

The player's first encounter with Berry Forest is on a mission from the owner of Two Island's Joyful Game Corner to find his daughter, Lostelle, who had gone to the forest to pick Berries. She is at the top left corner of the maze, having been scared by a wild Hypno (which is weaker than other wild Hypno in the forest). After the Hypno has been caught or defeated, she gives the player an Iapapa Berry and is able to return home.

Items

Locations of the Berries

Berry Forest contains many spots where Berries are hidden that will regenerate after being taken. Because Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen do not implement Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire's Berry trees, Berry Forest's regenerating Berries make it the only location in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen where they may be obtained repeatedly. Because FireRed and LeafGreen do not track time, Berries may regenerate every 512 steps.

In the Pokémon Adventures manga

Berry Forest appeared briefly in A Vicious Cycle of Possibilities, where it was observed by the Kanto Pokémon Federation. The gang planned to steal and eat all the Berries in the forest before wrecking the island, but were never able to do this when Lostelle came in their way and Deoxys then attacked them, destroying their motorcycles.
