(Japanese: 盾シルドミリア Shirudomiria Tate) is a main character in Pokémon Adventures.

Character

Shirudomiria is an assistant to Professor Magnolia, helping her research the Dynamax phenomenon. She is often referred to as (Japanese: しーちゃん Shī-chan) by Sōdo and Professor Magnolia.

Shirudomiria is very active and tends to shout all the time, even when the person she's talking to is right next to her.

History

Past

One year prior to the Sword & Shield arc, Shirudomiria and Sōdo first met at the entrance of the Slumbering Weald. Despite it being forbidden to enter, they went inside to obtain a Wishing Star Shirudomiria spotted falling into the forest. They found two Wishing Stars, with Shirudomiria taking one for herself and giving the other to Sōdo as thanks for his help. Shirudomiria and Sōdo then found themselves surrounded by the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta. Realizing the two Pokémon were merely illusions, Shirudomiria and Sōdo passed through them, only to be knocked unconscious by a bright flash of light. After coming to, Shirudomiria was distraught to find that her Pokémon had gone missing. After a failed search attempt, Shirudomiria and Sōdo decided the only way to find Shirudomiria's missing team members was to enter the Gym Challenge, hoping to use their fame to spread the word about the missing Pokémon.

Sword & Shield arc

Shirudomiria debuted in PASS01. She was first seen meeting a young boy named Marvin. She took the boy to meet Sōdo, who had saved his life earlier that day. After a brief introduction, Shirudomiria offered to let Marvin participate in a Dynamax simulation with her and Sōdo. Together, they fought and defeated a Dynamax Pangoro hologram, giving Marvin the confidence to set out on a Pokémon journey. Having received approval from his parents, Marvin joined the others on their quest to study Dynamax. Later, everyone found Leon on the outskirts of Wedgehurst, trying to move a large flock of Wooloo off of some train tracks. Shirudomiria and Sōdo stepped in to help, driving off an Obstagoon that was terrorizing the Wooloo. After introducing themselves, Leon left to appear on a television program in Motostoke. To Marvin's surprise, Shirudomiria and Sōdo revealed they helped Leon hoping that their efforts would leave enough of an impression that he'd give them an endorsement for the Gym Challenge.

In PASS03, the trailer house was attacked by a trio of wild Drednaw. In order to battle the Bite Pokémon, Shirudomiria and Sōdo each received a Rotom Phone with a Pokédex function installed, officially making them both Pokédex holders. With some assistance from Sobble, the Drednaw were defeated. Afterward, Professor Magnolia suggested Marvin keep Sobble, which he happily accepted.

In PASS04, Shirudomiria and the others arrived in the Wild Area. While they traveled, Shirudomiria was delivered a package that contained Gym Challenge uniforms for her and Sōdo. When a pair of Team Yell Grunts tried to destroy the uniforms, Shirudomiria and Sōdo pushed them into a Pokémon Den, forcing the four to team up in a Max Raid Battle against the wild Gurdurr that lurked inside. Eventually, the Gurdurr was defeated and caught by Sōdo, but the Grunts' Pokémon were knocked out during the battle, forcing them to flee.

In PASS06, Shirudomiria and Sōdo registered for the Gym Challenge in Motostoke. The group encountered Sonia, a researcher and Magnolia's granddaughter. When the trailer car broke down, Magnolia asked the others to research the geoglyph in Turffield in her place. Along the way, on Route 3, Shirudomiria and the others met Hop, Bede, and Marnie, a trio of Gym Challengers. They were unable to progress due to a large boulder blocking the entrance to Galar Mine. By combining their Pokémon's attacks, Shirudomiria and the others moved the boulder and went ahead. Later, everyone gathered at Turffield Stadium, where they watched Sōdo face Milo in a Gym battle and won. Once Shirudomiria won her match, she, Sōdo, and Marvin prepared to head off to the next Gym in Hulbury.

Later, in Hulbury, Shirudomiria faced Nessa in a Gym battle. She won due to Scorbunny evolving into Raboot as well as Nessa's Pokémon still being tired from their earlier battle with Sōdo. Realizing that she won't last much longer in the Gym Challenge with only a single Pokémon, Shirudomiria cried out, begging for her missing team members to return.

Later, Shirudomiria used an interview to inform the public about her missing team members. Sometime afterward, she was approached by Hop, who had spotted an Arrokuda in a nearby swamp. Hoping it was Kilo, Shirudomiria grabbed Hop and ran off to search for it. At the swamp, they successfully located Kilo, only to find it being eaten by a wild Cramorant. By combining their efforts, Kilo was freed from Cramorant's stomach and rejoined its Trainer. Once they went their separate ways, Shirudomiria challenged the Motostoke Gym Leader Kabu and won. Later, she and the others met up with Sōdo in Hammerlocke, where they met Raihan, the Hammerlocke Gym Leader, and Opal, the Ballonlea Gym Leader. Opal briefly traveled with them to Stow-on-Side before returning home. Shirudomiria then watched Sōdo's Gym battle with Allister.
