Magic Powder (Japanese: まほうのこな Magic Powder) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature move of Hatterene.

Effect

	This move effect may be in need of research. Reason: Will the animation still play if used on a pure Psychic-type? Can it affect Terastallized Pokémon? You can discuss this on the talk page.

Magic Powder changes the target's type to pure Psychic. The effect lasts as long as the target remains in battle; however, changing form or transforming overrides the effect.

Magic Powder fails if the target has a substitute, is already a pure Psychic type, or its Ability is RKS System.

Being a powder move, it will fail on Grass-type Pokémon and Pokémon with the Ability Overcoat or holding a Safety Goggles.
