Igglybuff (Japanese: ププリン Pupurin) is a Template:Type2 baby Pokémon. It evolves into Jigglypuff.

Physiology

None.
Special abilities
This small Pokémon is extremely elastic and can bounce like a ball. It may not be able to stop if it does this. It also displays the singing abilties of it's evolutions, but isn't able to sing as long as they can. It also curiously enough, smells sweet to calm the emotions of it's foes.
Behavior
Habitat
Igglybuff tend to live by springs, which they use water from to gargle their sore throats from singing.

Other appearances
Igglybuff only appears as a random trophy.
Trophy information
Igglybuff, which evolve into Jigglypuff, are so incredibly elastic that they always seem to be bouncing. They have stubby legs, so for these Pokémon, bounding from place to place is much faster than walking. Unlike its equally adorable relatives, Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff, Igglybuff has red eyes.

Trivia
- Igglybuff is one of the few Pokémon to change its Template:Shiny2 form between generations. In Generation II, the alternate color had a green swirl and green eyes. In Generation III, Igglybuff's color became a little darker and there was red added to the still green eyes. In Generation IV, there was no more green.
- Due to Igglybuff's soft, flexible pink body and its round shape, it bears a resemblance to Kirby. It shares these characteristics and the Kirby-resembling trait with Cleffa and Happiny.
- Although the Pokédex states that when it starts rolling it becomes impossible to stop, it can not learn Rollout by level-up.
Origin
It appears to be a stylized baby wearing a bonnet.
Name origin
Igglybuff's name rhymes with Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff. Its Japanese name is a variation on Template:P2, the Japanese word for pudding, or the addition of an extra pu to Jigglypuff's Japanese name – a combination of 風船 fūsen, balloon, and 膨れる fukureru, to expand or inflate.
In other languages
- German: Fluffeluff
- French: Toudoudou - This French corruption means All soft soft.
- Korean: 푸푸린 Pupurin
