Introduction

Hello. I am HoennMaster. I joined Bulbapedia in early 2006, but didn't become that active until about mid 2007.

I have been playing the games and watching the anime since the very beginning. Pokémon is by far my favorite show. It was the first I was introduced to so it has been stuck in my head ever since. As of right now I own all of the games on the side except for the Smash Bros. and N64 games. However, my cousins have these games and I often borrow them, so I included them. As for the anime. I only buy the boxsets, and I have all of them released in the U.S. except for the first Master Quest boxset (but I'm hunting it down). I also own Movies 1, 2, 3, and 6 on VHS and Movies 5, 8, 9, and 10 on DVD. I still need to buy Movie 4 on DVD, and Movie 7 is recorded on VHS from the original Kids WB! broadcast. When it comes to movies, my favorite at this moment is a tie between Heroes and The Rise of Darkrai. I have WAY TOO MANY favorite anime episodes, so check out the sub-page listed above.

Favorites and School

I love TV and record many things. I own a lot of boxsets (thanks to discounts!) and my collection is growing. My other passion is Manga. I love Manga and I could spend all day reading it. My favorite anime and manga are Pokémon, Digimon, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sailor Moon, Zatch Bell, and Dragonball Z. I also have a love of Music. I can listen to the same song 10 times (just a random number) in a row and still want to listen to it. However, my number one favorite thing is everything Astrology.

I am 18 years old and I just finished my first year of college. I graduated high school back in June 2008.

Pokémon

Now back to pokémon. I am a strange fan. I have an obsession with the girls and evil teams. For instance, I love Team Aqua and Team Galactic and they have amazing goals. As for girls, whenever it comes to favorite Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, etc. there are usually girls. Is that a bad thing? Everytime I find out Cynthia is appearing I want to scream, I love Cynthia.

For the anime, I have seen every dub episode up to the latest, and I have seen a few Japanese ones over the last two years. I have been following the Japanese version since 2005, right around the end of the Hoenn League in Japan. So far I have liked every main character in the show except for Max. I'm not a fan of him at all. However, I kind of started to like him during season 9. His new voice actor made him less annoying. As for the voice actors, I like BOTH the new and old, and thus I am not a member of either SOVA or SONVA. My favorite voice actor from the 4Kids dub was Rachael Lillis (Misty and Jessie), and from the Pokémon USA dub it is Emily Jenness (Dawn). As for my opinion on the new dub, I like it. Although I miss the old voice actors, I still like the new voice actors. Also, PUSA is overall a better dubber then 4Kids so there. My favorite dub themes are Pokémon World, Believe in Me, This Dream, Unbeatable, and We Will Be Heroes. My favorite Japanese openings are Advance Adventure, Battle Frontier, Spurt!, Together, and High Touch!.
