Crowded by Croagunk & Advanced on by Abra II (Japanese: VS グレッグル&ケーシィII VS Croagunk & Abra II), titled VS Croagunk & Abra II in the Chuang Yi translation, is the 353rd chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga, and the 16th chapter of the Diamond & Pearl arc. It is subtitled Paka and Uji (Japanese: パカとウージ Paka and Uji) in the VIZ Media translation and Paka and Uji in the Chuang Yi translation.
Plot
The fight continues as Paka and Uji confront the person whom they believe has kidnapped Platinum. Anticipating Buizel's attack, the Croagunk belonging to the voice on the flying speaker uses Sucker Punch. Buizel is thrown into the tower wall and plummets to the ground.
At the top floor of the Lost Tower, Pearl hears the commotion from down below. Fantina assures him that battles are common in the tower. She explains that the Lost Tower is a place for Trainers to pay respects to Pokémon that have passed on, and how there are nearby wild Pokémon who often get into battles with them. Fantina then asks Pearl and Diamond to perform another act for her as Platinum leaves to explore the tower.
Paka and Uji run to higher ground for safety, but the flying speaker's Abra uses Teleport to reach them and attack Burmy. The bodyguards are cornered, and the mysterious person operating the flying speaker begins to lose patience with them. Through the camera on the front of the speaker, the person is able to spot Platinum, who is staring down at the fight from a higher floor. She is unaware of the Trainers' identities, simply entertained by the heated battle.
The mysterious person attempts to finish the fight and has Abra and Croagunk destroy Burmy's cloak for a second time. To the person's surprise, the leaves from Burmy's cloak remain in the air. It is revealed that Buizel is using its tail as a propeller to keep the leaves aloft. The leaves collide with the flying speaker, knocking it down and causing it to disconnect from its operator. Without a Trainer to command them, Abra and Croagunk are easily defeated by Burmy. Paka and Uji celebrate their victory as Platinum heads back upstairs.
Furious after losing the battle with Paka and Uji, the mysterious person is revealed to be Saturn. He summons a group of Team Galactic Grunts and makes a plan to divert Platinum and her bodyguards' path to Mt. Coronet through Veilstone City, where the Team Galactic HQ is located. Mars enters the area, hearing Saturn as he shouts his plans to the grunts. Saturn announces to her that his project to build a Galactic Bomb is near completion. He asks Mars if she was able to find a power supply and she reveals that she is using her Electivire to transfer the electricity she stole from the Valley Windworks.
Back at the top floor of the Lost Tower, Platinum enthuses over the battle she saw to Fantina, who is delighted to hear her excitement. Fantina then states she must return to Hearthome City and lends her Drifblim to the three, insisting they take it to the next town over. As they depart on Drifblim, Fantina quietly says that she looks forward to a Gym battle with Platinum.
