Pluck (Japanese: ついばむ Pick) is a damage-dealing Flying-type move introduced in Generation IV. It has been TM88 since Generation IV.

Effect

Generation IV

Pluck inflicts damage. If the target is holding a Berry, the user will eat the Berry and gain its effect. Pluck will not eat the Berry of a target that is behind a substitute. The effect of a Jaboca or Coba Berry will activate before the Berry can be stolen. Berries like Liechi or Sitrus Berries will be eaten by the attacker, regardless of them meeting their consumption requirement upon taking damage from Pluck.

Generation V

Pluck can hit non-adjacent opponents in Triple Battles.

Description

Games Description
The user pecks the foe. If the foe is holding a Berry, the user plucks it and gains the effect.
The user pecks the target. If the target is holding a Berry, the user eats it and gains its effect.
