Maushold (Japanese: イッカネズミ Ikkanezumi) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.
It evolves from Tandemaus starting at level 25 only when leveled up in a battle. It will skip the evolution sequence if leveled up in a battle it did not take part in.
Maushold has two different forms: Family of Four and Family of Three. When Tandemaus evolves, the form it evolves into is determined by its encryption constant, with a 1/100 chance of evolving into Family of Three Maushold. This is not the case for Maushold obtained via Tera Raid Battles, as these may have either form regardless of their encryption constant value.
Biology
Maushold is a Pokémon which is comprised of several separate mouse-like rodent Pokémon, which work together as one. Each one is small, white, and bipedal and has a round spherical head with large ears and stubby limbs that have large paws. They each have two black beady eyes, one black nose with whiskers, and a long tail that curls up at the end. The larger pair remain unchanged, where one has a light-gray patch of fur surrounding its chest which resembles a shirt, while the other has a light-gray patch of fur surrounding its legs, which resembles a pair of pants. The two are accompanied by one or two smaller ones, which lack the light-gray patch of fur.
Maushold and its pre-evolved form, Tandemaus, are the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Population Bomb. Maushold is also the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Tidy Up.

Trivia
Origin
Maushold seems to be based on a family of mice. Specifically, based on its white coloration and its Pokédex entries describing how it lives in large nests with dedicated rooms, it may be based on laboratory mice and how they are studied in simulacrums of human behavior. It may also be based on the concept of a nuclear family, and its doll-like appearance may reference the Japanese doll line, Sylvanian Families.
Name origin
Maushold may be a combination of Maus (German for mouse) and household.
Ikkanezumi may be a combination of 一家 ikka (family) and 鼠 nezumi (mouse).
