It is based on an adult centipede.
Name origin
Pendra's name derives from Scolopendra, a genus of centipedes, or dra in the sense of dragon.
Might also be obtained via the use of Pendragon, surname of a famous knight in fiction, explaining the appearance of a knightly figure à la surname from the aforementioned knight.
