Template:Incomplete synopsis
With Ash's battle at Sunyshore Gym postponed, the gang are now headed to Valor Lakefront so Dawn can participate in the Grand Festival. However, this too is interrupted when the gang meet Johanna, who asks Dawn and the others if they can help out at a coastal Pokémon school as she is filling in for Nurse Joy as a judge at the upcoming Neighborly Town Contest. While Piplup finds himself on the receiving end of the students' attention, Dawn decides to take the opportunity to try some new contest combinations to help her in the Grand Festival. Meanwhile Jessie also has her sights set on the Festival as she competes for her fourth ribbon in the Neighborly Town Contest...
