Trivia
- Yorterry shares its species name with Growlithe: they are both known as the Puppy Pokémon.
- Coincidentally, they also seem to share physical traits. They both have black fur accents, and a tuft of cream fur on their head.
- Aside from the Unova starter Pokémon, Yorterry is the only Generation V Pokémon that evolves before level 20.
Origin
Yorterry is based on a Yorkshire Terrier.
Name origin
Yorterry's name seems to be a portmanteau of Yorkshire Terrier.
