Trivia
- Bachuru is the smallest Pokémon.
- Bachuru is the lightest Bug-type Pokémon.
- No other Pokémon has the same type-combination as Bachuru and its evolution.
- Bachuru and Galvantula are the only Pokémon capable of having the Unnerve ability that do not have it as their hidden ability.
Origin
Its Pokédex entry states that it latches onto to larger Pokémon to drain the static electricity off them, so it may be based on a tick, though its size seems to imply it is based on a mite. Like its evolution, it is also based on a tarantula, or a jumping spider.
Name origin
May come from バグ (the English word bug), and チュウ chū, an alternate reading of 虫 mushi, meaning bug.
