Effect
Gunk Shot deals damage and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target.

- Many non-Poison-type Pokémon can learn this move from the tutor in Platinum. It shares this trait with Seed Bomb, which many non-Template:Type2 Pokémon can learn from a tutor.
- Octillery is the only non-Poison-type Pokémon to learn this move by level up.
- None of the Pokémon that learn this move by level up have a secondary type.
- It has the highest base power of all Poison-type moves.
- Gunk Shot is the only variation of Blizzard not yet seen in the anime.
