Hyper Fang (Japanese: ひっさつまえば Certain-kill Fang) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It was the signature move of Rattata and Raticate prior to Generation IV.

Effect

Hyper Fang deals damage and has a 10% chance of causing the target to flinch.

Description

RSE Attacks with sharp fangs. May cause flinching.
FRLG The foe is attacked with sharp fangs. It may make the foe flinch.
The user bites hard on the foe with its sharp front fangs. It may also make the target flinch.
Conq The user bites hard on the target with its sharp front fangs. It may also make the target flinch.
