Coumarine City (Japanese: ヒヨクシティ Hiyoku City) is a port city located in the Kalos region. It is the hometown of the Gym Leader Ramos.

The Coumarine Gym is the official Gym of Coumarine City, whose Gym Leader is Ramos.
Coumarine Hotel
The Coumarine Hotel is a seaside resort hotel. The Game Director is found here and will ask the player to show their Pokédex once it is complete. He will give out Diplomas for completing the Central Kalos, Coastal Kalos, Mountain Kalos, Kalos, and National Pokédex.
Incense shop
A shopkeeper at a stall in the seaside half of the city sells many kinds of Incense.
Seaside and Hillcrest Stations
A monorail will take the player between the seaside and hillcrest halves of the city.
Hillcrest cliff
In the hillcrest side of town, after defeating the Champion, Tierno can be found on the cliffs overlooking the monorail tracks. Each day, he will ask to see a Pokémon with a dancing move, asking for a specific one at random. If the player shows him one, he will give a Heart Scale.

Coumarine City first appeared in Thawing an Icy Panic!. Here Ash and his friends they met Ramos after Clemont accidentally crashed into his gate. A snowstorm was caused by an angry Vanillish and Vanilluxe who heard the wails of a Vanillite, who was captured by Team Rocket, Ramos was able to stop the snowstorm with his Jumpluff using Sunny Day and his Sunflora removed the snow with Solar Beam, afterwards Team Rocket captured the angry Vanillish and Vanilluxe as well but were defeated by Ash, his friends and Ramos's Pokémon. The three Pokémon went off peacefully.
In Green, Green Grass Types of Home!, Ash had a Gym Battle against Ramos and his Jumpluff, Weepinbell and Gogoat and won with his Fletchinder, Hawlucha and Frogadier.
In Under the Pledging Tree!, Ash and friends visited a vow tree during celebrations and gave each other presents, Ash also tried to capture a Dunsparce but failed since he left his Poké Balls.
In Showcase, Debut!, Serena, along with Shauna, Jessie and other competitors entered the Coumarine City Pokémon Showcase, Serena and Jessie lost in the first round but Shauna was able to win, after losing Serena decided to change her look by shortening her hair and changing her outfit. Afterwards they left for Lumiose City for Ash's Lumiose Gym Battle with Clemont.
