Daybreak Town (Japanese: アサツキタウン Asatsuki Town) is an anime-exclusive location in the Sinnoh region. It is unique in the fact that it's the only known place other than Hearthome City to have Double Performance rounds in a Contest. The town is also very close to Sunyshore City.
A Pokémon Contest was held there in Yes in Dee Dee, It's Dawn! and Playing the Performance Encore!. Dawn, Ursula and Jessilina entered the Contest in hopes of getting the prestigious Daybreak Ribbon. They all passed the Appeals Round, but Dawn came out on top in the Contest Battles and won her fifth Ribbon, which allowed her to enter the Sinnoh Grand Festival. It was announced by Marian in her television report about Coordinators in Unlocking the Red Chain of Events!.
Trivia
- In the English dub, this location was initially referred to as a city.
