Malva's Braixen (Japanese: パキラのテールナー Pachira's Tairenar) is a Pokémon that Malva owns in the Pokémon Adventures manga.
History
It first appears as a Fennekin in An X-cuse to Come Out and Play while in it's Poké Ball along with Chespin and Froakie with the third Pokédex, and is then is revealed to be the starter Pokémon Trevor lost in the fight between Yveltal and Xerneas in Inn-teresting Developments. It is later found and taken by Team Flare presumably after scavenging the remains of Vaniville Town and is placed inside a box alongside several other Pokémon. Malva took Fennekin for herself and crushed the third Pokédex beneath her heal as she retrieved her Pyroar from Aliana in Dancing Vivillon.
In Gathering Klefki, Fennekin is revealed to have evolved into Braixen and follows it's trainer, seemingly away from where Xerneas in its cocoon form sleeps. Later on in Tying Trevenant, it observes the battle between Flare, the Gym Leaders, and the kids with Malva, secretly. In Changing Gengar, it reveals itself with Malva after Korrina, Gurkinn and Diantha arrive, then traps the Champion and her Mega Gardevoir with Magic Room under Malva's command, who notes that its effects were unable to take away Gardevoir's Mega Stone. It proceeds to viciously attack Mega Gardevoir with Flame Charge despite the difference in power, then uses Fire Spin in order to trap both Diantha and Mega Gardevoir in Surrounding Braixen.
It later appears in PAXY28 with Malva, watching Lysandre train in the Pokémon Village.
