Forming a More Perfect Union! (Japanese: 反撃のジガルデ！カロス最終決戦！！ The Zygarde Counterattack! The Final Decisive Battle of Kalos!!) is the 136th episode of the XY series, and the 935th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on September 15, 2016 as a one-hour special alongside XY135 and is scheduled to air in the United States on December 17, 2016.

Plot

Major events

• Ash and Alain rescue Chespie from the Megalith Zygarde, temporarily stopping it.
• Lysandre returns and gains control of the Megalith Zygarde.
• Clemont and Bonnie discover that Blaziken Mask is Meyer, their father.
• Squishy and Z2 combine into Zygarde Complete Forme in order to battle and destroy the Megalith Zygarde.
• Squishy is revealed to know Core Enforcer.
• The Megalith Zygarde is destroyed, with Lysandre disappearing in the process, leaving his fate unknown and resulting in Team Flare's defeat.
• Malva decides to disband Team Flare and turn herself in.
• Chespie wakes up from its coma.
• Squishy leaves with Z2.

Errors

• When Serena, Bonnie and Mairin run closer to the Megalith Zygarde, Serena's Pancham and Sylveon can be heard but their mouths don't move.
• Shortly after Ash and Alain enter the Megalith Zygarde, Alain isn't wearing his Mega Ring.
• This episode states that all of the Zygarde Cores and Cells from across the world are required in order to achieve Complete Forme. However, in the movie Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, Squishy was able to assume Complete Forme without all of them, albeit temporarily.
