Celebrate (Japanese: おいわい Celebration) is a non-damaging Normal-type event-exclusive move introduced in Generation VI.

Effect

Celebrate has no known effect in battle. When a Pokémon uses this move, it will disappear and a present will drop down from above and unfold to reveal the Pokémon that used it inside. The battle text will then display: Congratulations, <player>!

If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-Celebrate, all of the user's stats raise one stage.

How to obtain

The player can not teach this move to any Pokémon and can only obtain a Pokémon that has already learned this move from a Japanese Pokémon Center (The real place, not the in-game hospital for Pokémon), if they visit on their birthday.
