Rototiller (Japanese: たがやす Plow) is a non-damaging Ground-type move introduced in Generation VI.
Effect
Rototiller raises the Attack and Special Attack stats of all grounded Grass-type Pokémon in the battle by one stage.
It does not affect Flying-type Pokémon, Pokémon with Levitate, Pokémon holding an Air Balloon, or Pokémon under the effects of Magnet Rise or Telekinesis; however, it can affect these Pokémon if they are also under the effects of Ingrain, Smack Down or Thousand Arrows, if the Pokémon is holding an Iron Ball, or if Gravity is in effect. The move will fail if there are no Grass-type Pokémon present on the battlefield.
Rototiller can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, causing certain moves (Bullet Seed, Leech Seed, Seed Bomb and Worry Seed) to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.
If powered up by a Groundium Z into Z-Rototiller, the user's Attack stat raises one stage.
