Rototiller (Japanese: たがやす Plow) is a non-damaging Ground-type move introduced in Generation VI.

Effect

Rototiller raises the Attack and Special Attack stats of all grounded Grass-type Pokémon on the field that are not in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move by one stage. Rototiller fails if there are no eligible Grass-type Pokémon.

Pokémon are not grounded if they are Flying-type Pokémon, have the Ability Levitate, hold an Air Balloon, or are under the effect of Magnet Rise or Telekinesis; however, these Pokémon become grounded if they are under the effect of Ingrain, they are under the effect of Smack Down or Thousand Arrows, they hold an Iron Ball, or Gravity is in effect.

Rototiller can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, causing certain moves (Bullet Seed, Leech Seed, Seed Bomb and Worry Seed) to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.

If powered up by a Groundium Z into Z-Rototiller, the user's Attack stat raises one stage.

Description
