Debut Showdown At Linoone

(Japanese: ギバン島 Giban Island) is an anime-exclusive island in Hoenn that appeared in Showdown At Linoone. It is located somewhere between Sootopolis City and Mirage Island. Kimmy Shoney lives there with his parents Korban and Harmony.

The island has a large square mountain and is covered in dense forest. It also has a Pokémon Center.

Ash and his friends boarded a ship to Giban Island, hoping the stop would be a good location for Ash to train for the upcoming Ever Grande Conference, and for May to train for her next Contest. The group got little training in, however, after a Linoone, nicknamed Tokin, stole two of May's Poké Balls, due to its habit of picking up items.
